The UV7SC is a self-check ultraviolet flame scanner for continuous monitoring of gas or oil flames, compatible with Fireye’s MBSERIES, SBSERIES controls, and MBPF flame sensing modules.

The UV7SC is a high-performance, self-check ultraviolet flame scanner, designed for continuous monitoring of gas or oil flames. It integrates with Fireye’s MBSERIES Multi-Burner and SBSERIES Single Burner controls, as well as the MBPF-100S and MB-600PF flame sensing modules.
Key Features:

• Self-Check Mechanism: Every 10 seconds, a mechanical shutter checks the scanner’s circuitry for flame signals. If a “runaway” is detected, the output is interrupted, shutting down the flame safeguard system.
• Durable Construction: Features a fused silica quartz lens and machined alloy housing for high-temperature environments.
• Automatic Checks: Internal detectors and processors check the system every 10 seconds for reliable flame detection.
• Easy Replacement: Can be replaced without disturbing wiring.

How It Works:

The UV7SC uses a UV tube filled with gas that ionizes when exposed to UV radiation from the flame, generating a signal sent to the control system to energize or hold the flame relay.The UV7SC ensures reliable and safe flame detection, making it ideal for industrial applications requiring continuous monitoring.
